The Small Alchemy of the Season – from Frost Flowers to Snowdrops

This is our favourite time of year: outside the frost crackles, inside the fire glows; the afternoons grow dark and the soups grow warm.

From December to the end of February, four signature menus shape our winter season: during Advent we revisit the classics of the Hungarian bourgeois kitchen; the new year begins with an unusual pairing of Mangalica and sparkling wines; in January we tell the Winter Tale of the frozen Great Plain; and February belongs to shepherds' songs, newborn lambs and the world of furmint.
